Peace Through Play Nursery School operates as a year-round nursery school with childcare hours. We are open all day for working parents, offering a full curriculum from 7:30am to 6:00pm. We operate as a Montessori-based program with additional elements from other sound early childhood curricula. The curriculum is designed to enhance children's independence intellectually and emotionally while providing a challenging and fun-filled environment that nurtures friendship, love, harmony and peace - all to bring out the best in each child's growth throughout the year. We help children become prepared for the experience of kindergarten.
Peace Through Play is linked to agencies like Child Care Resources of Rockland, the East Ramapo School District, Kids on the Block Puppet Theatre, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, Palisades Association for the Education of Young Children and the Rockland County Department of Health that provide materials and training relevant to cultural and linguistic diversity.
